php - Eclipse indigo PDT 3.0 gotcha -


i understand pdt not part of eclipse indigo. installed > install new software , restarted. still, not see php option in perspective. java seen. can in getting me on php development indigo?

it should simple.

  • download "eclipse classic"

  • unzip/install new folder location (e.g. c:\eclipse-indigo-win32\

  • go help->install new software
  • select indigo - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo "work with" drop down list
  • type "php" in filter text
  • select "php development tools (pdt) sdk feature
  • select /next/ok/agree/finish etc..
  • wait install , restart when prompted

to check installation version - go help->about click "installation details" button - version next "php development tools (pdt) all-in-one sdk v3.0.0" - check "eclipse sdk" should 3.7.0

ensure perspective selected, - next perspective buttons - click icon "+" symbol - select "other" - highlight "php" - select "ok, php included in list of open perspectives
